Chinese Chicken Vegetable Pulao
Chinese Chicken Vegetable Pulao, also known as Chinese Roasted Meals, is a traditional food in China. It has been around for thousands of years. It was first mentioned in “The Classic of Cookery,” a famous ancient Chinese cookbook. The name of the dish means “roast chicken and vegetables.”
Pulao is a type of braised food. It is a popular dish in southern China, where I live. Here, I will share my recipe for “Chicken and Vegetables Pulao” (or “Roasted Meals”).
Pulao chicken is a traditional Chinese dish with shredded meat, vegetables, and seasoning. It is often served as a side dish at Chinese restaurants.
The ingredients for pulao chicken should be thinly sliced and mixed. You may add any vegetables you want. Then season the mixture well with salt, pepper, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Mix the ingredients until they are thoroughly combined. If you do not have enough time to make the entire batch of pulao chicken, you can mix half of the ingredients and freeze them before using.
Heat a wok over high heat. Add 2 teaspoons of cooking oil. When the oil starts to smoke slightly, pour about 1/4 cup of the mixture into the hot pan. Immediately stir-fry the mixture over high heat for about 30 seconds. Turn off the heat and transfer the contents of the pan onto a plate. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all of the mixtures are cooked. Serve immediately.
